Mr. Mithun Chakrawarti Prasad Poudel is an experienced infrastructure and hydropower expert with strong expertise in civil engineering, project management, hydropower development, financial advisory, and institutional governance. He holds a Master’s degree in Infrastructure Planning and Construction Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University.
He has extensive experience in feasibility studies, project design, due diligence, bill verification, environmental assessment, financial closure, insurance surveying, and property valuation for major hydropower and infrastructure projects across Nepal.
As an Executive Member of Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal, he contributes to policy advocacy, investment promotion, and strategic planning in Nepal’s energy sector.
At NIIERD, he serves as National Expert (Infrastructure, Hydropower, Engineering & Financial Advisory), supporting infrastructure policy research, project evaluation, investment strategy, and sustainable development planning.
